Worship leader John Tussey

John Tussey

John loves Jesus and is an award-winning recording artist - pianist / synthesist, composer, arranger, private music instructor, music publisher and public speaker. He has been involved with music ministry for more than 5 decades, resides in Pearl City, Hawaii, and composes and records contemporary keyboard music with piano and synthesizers. His styles range from mellow to majestic piano solos and ambient serene synthesizer soundscapes, and the smooth, easy-listening sounds are peaceful, soothing, relaxing, and helpful in eliminating stress as well as calming babies and children. It is also music that helps babies sleep as well as children and adults. This is music from the heart and connects well with the listener.

John's artistry combined with a variety of playing styles exudes a magnetic charisma that has gained him much favor wherever he plays. He also plays and records blues and jazzy styles as found on the "Christmas Impressions" CD.  He records some of his music with frequencies of the Periodic Table of Elements. Periodic Table of Elements music is very rare on the Internet, and John is thankful to be one who is recording and releasing it. He also records with both 432Hz and 444Hz tunings as well as the solfeggio frequencies.

John plays for special events, seminars, conferences, and churches and has had the honor of playing in meetings with many different talented and influential musicians over the years. He offers "Contemporary Music Theory Seminars” and has released 30 keyboard instrumental albums. In 2011, John's “Christmas Impressions” album won a Hawaii Music Award, and "Frequencies of DNA" won two 2016 Big Island Music Awards, including one for the Inspirational Category.   John is a writer and publisher member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) and is also a verified Spotify artist.  John's music has been heard on TV and radio in Hawaii, Europe, The Philippines, Australia, the Middle East and several Internet radio stations, and has done TV and radio interviews in Hawaii, the East Coast and the Philippines.
